A second century of the season paired with two half centuries has propelled Luke Procter to the top of Northamptonshire’s runscorers in 2022. Averaging 108 with the bat in the LV= Insurance County Championship and breaking partnerships with the ball, Procter offered a lot to his Skipper in May.
Ben Sanderson
Sitting clear atop Northamptonshire’s wicket taking list so far this summer, Sanderson sits among the top 10 wicket takers in the LV= Insurance County Championship. Claiming consistent wickets in the first fixtures of the Vitality Blast too, Sanderson keeps on delivering.
Ricardo Vasconcelos
Runs started to flow for the Skipper in May, a big century against Warwickshire at Edgbaston the jewel in Vasconcelos’ crown, followed up with a flowing 71 in the next innings at home against Kent.
Will Young
The Kiwi continued his bright start for Northamptonshire in May and posted a first century for the club in a mammoth partnership at Warwickshire. Young now averages 55 in a Northamptonshire shirt before joining up with the New Zealand camp for their test series.
