Northamptonshire County Cricket Club are delighted to announce that Northamptonshire Children’s Trust have become an Official Partner of the Club.
Northamptonshire Children’s Trust are an independent, not-for-profit company with a strong ambition to improve the lives of children and their families in the local community.
“Northamptonshire Children’s Trust (NCT) believe that all children and young people in Northamptonshire deserve to live in a loving, caring and stable family home with people who will support them into adulthood.” said Olivia Ives, Assistant Director for NCT.
“NCT’s aim is to provide the best possible outcomes for our children and young people by preparing, training and supporting our foster carers so that they can reach their full potential.”
“We are going into partnership with Northants County Cricket Club in order to help raise awareness of our need for more foster carers. With over 1,000 children and young people in care across Northamptonshire, we need people to come forward now more than ever.”
The partnership will ensure that Northamptonshire Children’s Trust will have a strong presence at The County Ground, through both physical branding and an event on Community Day.
“We are passionate at NCCC about our local community, and work hard alongside our recreational team (Steelbacks in the Community) to have an impact on the lives of local children and families.” said Northamptonshire County Cricket Commercial Manager, Daniel Vernon.
“It’s fantastic to have NCT on board and I’m glad that we can be a part of raising awareness for such a great cause. We look forward to working together to have an impact in the community.”
