A flurry of wickets after lunch saw Glamorgan win by an innings on 149 runs on the final afternoon.

After rain washed out all play after lunch on Day 2, Northamptonshire started the day 68/0 with a further 96 overs to bat. Ben Curran glided one to third man with the second ball of the day to post his third first-class half century but departed the next ball, de Lange taking the edge through to Cullen. Vasconcelos and Wakely both fell the same way, Hogan the bowler this time. This brought Keogh and Bavuma together, the pair steadying things to post a 50 partnership and take Northamptonshire into lunch 142/3.

Both batsmen were trapped lbw to Hogan shortly after the break however, Bavuma first for 34 before Keogh departed for 43. The final four wickets fell in the next 10 overs, Rossington watching Cobb and Procter feather edges to the keeper before Labuschagne picked up Wood and Buck. Ben Sanderson elected not to bat after injuring his hand in the Glamorgan innings, Northamptonshire finishing on 195.

The squad now travel to Durham for their next Specsavers County Championship on Monday the 10th of June.
