Two Northamptonshire Coaches have been recognised with awards at the ECB’s annual Coach Awards.
Joanne Carlier was chosen as one of the Coaches of the Year and Simon Hill was given an award for his Services to Coaching.
Both were award winners at the Steelbacks in the Community Outstanding Services to Cricket Awards back in August but have now gone on to gain national recognition.
Senior Clubs and Community Manager Patricia Hankins believes that it is important to acknowledge those that might not usually get the attention they deserve.
“We’re delighted for Joanne and Simon, they thoroughly deserve it and they really dedicate a lot of their time to making sure their club is the best it can be.
“It’s important that they get noticed as there really are many amazing people who are improving the game across the county.” She added.
