Head Coach John Sadler has named three changes to the squad travelling to Edgbaston for Northamptonshire’s fifth fixture in the LV= Insurance County Championship.
Ben Sanderson rotates out of the squad to manage workload after a busy start of the season, with Gareth Berg returning in his place following his rest vs Surrey.
After several impressive performances for the Second XI, including a key century in the nail biting victory vs Worcestershire, Ben Curran joins the first team squad.
Tom Taylor’s workload is also being managed in the build up to the Vitality Blast, so Nathan Buck joins the squad after more strong Second XI performances – most recently taking a three wicket maiden over vs Worcestershire and winning the same match with a six off the final ball.
