It’s time to vote for which Northamptonshire player who impressed you the most in June!


    Chris Lynn

    Lynn finished as the top run scorer for Northamptonshire in the Vitality Blast for the second year in a row, scoring 364 across the group stage along with ending up with the most sixes (12). Lynn went brilliantly in both wins against Leicestershire in June, scoring 110* and 62 respectively.

    Ben Sanderson

    Ben Sanderson impressed with the ball, finishing with 14 wickets in the group stages. Spells of 3/20 and 3/29 against the Foxes and Nottinghamshire guided Sanderson to a squad best economy rate of 6.76. Sanderson also hit a career best of 46 in the LV= County Championship game against Kent and was named in the PCA’s MVP Team of the Month for June.

    AJ Tye

    Tye impressed with bat and ball in June as he ended up as Northamptonshire’s top wicket taker in the T20 Vitality Blast, taking 19 wickets which saw him finish high in the competition charts too. The Australian hit 10 sixes and 136 runs over the course of June, including a quick fire 35 from 17 against Lancashire Lightning.

    Saif Zaib

    Zaib continued his consistent form in the Vitality Blast, ending up as the second highest run scorer for Northamptonshire. The all-rounder hit two half centuries in the Blast during June, including an unforgetable matchwinning innings away at Worcestershire.
