Following a solid tour of Barbados, Northamptonshire will be playing a two-day friendly against Middlesex at Merchant Taylors’ School, starting tomorrow, Wednesday 30 March.
Each day’s play will consist of 96 overs of red ball cricket with an 11am start on both days. Middlesex will bat on Wednesday and Northamptonshire will bat on Thursday. (This is weather permitting & subject to change).
12-man squad to play in this pre-season friendly: Alex Wakely (Captain), Steven Crook, Azharullah, Ben Sanderson, Richard Glesson, Tom Sole, Graeme White, Adam Rossington, Ben Duckett, Saif Zaib, George Munsey, Shaz Ali.
David Murphy and Harry Adair added on the Thursday. This match is free entry to spectators, but please note that no catering facilities or seating is provided.
