Lewis McManus has joined Northamptonshire on loan for the beginning of the 2022 season.
The wicketkeeper batsman has 55 first-class appearances and nearly 2,000 runs under his belt and joins the Club from Hampshire for an initial period of four weeks.
“I’m really excited to be joining Northamptonshire on loan and can’t wait to get started.” McManus said.
“The club has a great history and some really quality players. I’m looking forward to being a part of what will hopefully be a successful season.”
With Adam Rossington currently unavailable for selection, McManus will take the gloves for the fixture against Cardiff UCCE beginning today at The County Ground.
“Lewis is a highly skilled cricketer with First Division experience so we’re delighted to have him.” Head Coach John Sadler said.
“He’s a player with a great attitude and we think he’ll fit in really well with us.”
