Northamptonshire County Cricket Club have confirmed a new partnership with world renowned cricket brand Gray-Nicolls who will become the official and exclusive kit supplier from the 2020 season.

The agreement will see the club wearing Gray-Nicolls kit in the County Championship, Royal London One Day Cup and Vitality Blast competitions, alongside supporting the junior pathway programme and offering an extensive range of replica kit and equipment in a revamped club shop.

The club and Gray-Nicolls have been working behind the scenes over the winter period on some exciting new shirt designs which will be launched prior to the start of the season.

Northamptonshire’s Marketing Manager Daniel Vernon said: “It’s a really exciting announcement for the club. To be back working with arguably the biggest cricket brand in the business is something we are incredibly proud of and this new joint partnership is something we are looking forward to growing over the next few years. Being able to maintain the consistency of working with Speed One Sports for delivery is something that really helps and brings everything together.”

Gray-Nicolls have a rich history in the sport and have provided kit and equipment to the world’s best players and clubs since 1855. Their current brand ambassadors include the likes of Alastair Cook, Jonny Bairstow, Kane Williamson and Aaron Finch, alongside Northamptonshire’s very own Adam Rossington and up and coming batsman Emilio Gay.

Richard Gray, Sales & Marketing Director of Gray-Nicolls said, “It is with great pleasure that we are able to announce a new supply agreement with Northamptonshire County Cricket Club for the 2020 season and beyond.

We are a brand with cricket at its heart; it is really exciting to be able to support not only the club with cutting edge kit for the first team but also the junior programme.

The new shirts look fantastic and we have thoroughly enjoyed working with the club to create a collection which we hope will look great on and off the field.”

The partnership is brought together by Speed One Sports who will continue to be the delivery agent to the club.
