On the third Thursday in November each year the new Beaujolais Nouveau grape is launched. To celebrate the new grape, parties are held throughout France and further afield.
In Northampton a group of local businessmen got together to celebrate the first wine of the season and raised over £21,000! These funds were divided up between several Charities with Crazy Hats benefitting from £3,000.
Gavin Warren, Chairman of Northants County Cricket Club, came in to present the money to Crazy Hats and explained that the charity had been chosen due the excellent support it gives to so many throughout Northamptonshire.
