An all-action T20 Double Header comes to Wantage Road next summer as part of the Vitality Blast Off weekend.
The expanded Vitality Blast Off forms the opening weekend of the competition and will feature seven men’s and women’s T20 double headers across the country with the Steelbacks and Sunrisers both in action at The County Ground on Sunday the 2nd of June.
“We’re looking forward to hosting another exciting T20 Double Header, it was a really successful fixture this summer.” Northamptonshire Head of Commercial Daniel Vernon said.
“The fact it now falls on a Sunday in 2024 is great as it’s a wonderful chance for families to come along enjoy a full day of cricket at Wantage Road.”
The day sees regional women’s team the Sunrisers take on the Northern Diamonds in the Charlotte Edwards Cup before the Steelbacks face Yorkshire in the Vitality Blast.
The Steelbacks also travel to Trent Bridge for another Vitality Blast Off fixture against the Notts Outlaws on Friday the 31st of May.
Tickets for the Vitality Blast Off and other Steelbacks fixtures will be available in the new year, with 2024 Season Tickets set to become available alongside fixture release next week.
