Northamptonshire’s squad will visit South Africa as part of the 2023 preseason calendar.
The two week tour to Cape Town incorporates a full training schedule as well as friendly fixtures against Warwickshire, Durham UCCE and the Netherlands national side. Players and coaching staff depart later this week with the bowling group heading over first to acclimatise.
Travel packages are also available for supporters wishing to follow the county abroad.
After returning from South Africa, the squad welcome Worcestershire to Wantage Road before travelling to Leicestershire.
The two day run outs with Worcestershire at The County Ground on the 23rd and 24th and at the Upstonsteel County Ground on the 27th and 28th will run as training sessions and be played behind closed doors.
The preseason schedule is capped off with a three day competitive match against Oxford UCCE beginning on Saturday the 1st of April. Entry to this fixture is free and will also be streamed via the Club’s Match Centre.
