Matt Kelly is an Australian cricketer, joining Northamptonshire for the start of the 2022 season.  

With over 100 first-class wickets since his debut in October 2017, Kelly brings some serious bowling power to the squad.  

Born in Claremont in 1994, Matt Kelly is an effective fast bowler with a range of cricket experience across different formats in Australia.  

Making his debut for the Perth Scorchers in 2018, accumulating over 100 first-class wickets and gaining IPL experience with Kolkata Knight Riders in 2019 – Kelly’s versatility is clear to see.  

Having made the move over to the UK to play for Northamptonshire this season, it is exciting to see what he can bring to the squad.
