Becoming England’s 273^rd ODI cap in 2023, George Scrimshaw has shown to be an extremely talented fast bowler.

Standing a 6ft 7, the 26-year-old deliverers express pace and bounce. The 2022 and 2023 seasons in the Vitality Blast displayed Scrimshaw’s effectiveness with the ball, taking 23 and 20 wickets in the competition respectively.

An imposing figure in the shorter formats, Scrimshaw has also proved to be a useful option in the longer form of the game and will be a fine addition to Northamptonshire’s bowling attack.
