Northamptonshire County Cricket Club are delighted to announce that Wellingborough School have renewed their partnership.
Founded in 1595, Wellingborough boasts an exceptional sporting reputation amongst its students, including Northamptonshire men’s player, James Sales.
With standout facilities, including artificial nets and a square, pupils have the opportunity to enhance their cricketing skills throughout the academic year.
The Club hopes its partnership with the school enables more young male and female cricketers to rise from school to county cricket.

With this partnership, Wellingborough School’s branding will continue to be present around the cinch County Ground in front of the groundman’s hut. Members of the team will also attend 1878 Business Club events throughout 2026.
