Raphy Weatherall and Ravi Bopara have seen their 2024 campaigns with Northamptonshire ended by injury.
Weatherall has suffered a stress fracture in his back and will now begin his recovery ahead of the 2025 campaign.
Bopara ruptured the tendon in a finger on his right hand while attempting a caught and bowled during the recent MAX60 tournament in the Cayman Islands.
The 39-year-old has had surgery but will need three weeks of recovery time, meaning he will miss the Vitality Blast quarter-final against Somerset at The County Ground.
We would like to wish both players a speedy recovery and hope for the best in their recovery.
