Northamptonshire County Cricket Club are pleased to announce that Tim Robinson will return to Northamptonshire for the Metro Bank One Day Cup and our remaining County Championship fixtures.
The New Zealand international featured in the Vitality Blast and Rothesay County Championship throughout June and July and will return to Wantage Road after representing his country over the last couple of weeks.
“I’m delighted to be returning to Northamptonshire.” Robinson said.
“I really enjoyed my time with the group last time out so I can’t wait to get going again.” He added.
The powerful right-hander top scored with 55 against Kent in his first spell at the club and Head Coach Darren Lehmann is looking forward to seeing Robinson return.
“Tim will be around for us for the One Day Cup and the back end of the year which gives us some cover.
“He’s very talented and a good young player who has done well for New Zealand recently so hopefully he plays well for us when he gets his opportunity.”
Robinson will be available for selection on August 5th away at Lancashire for the opening round of the Metro Bank One Day Cup.
