Prithvi Shaw took out the honour in August and now it’s time to cast your final vote of 2023 – who impressed you the most in September?

    Rob Keogh
Keogh bookended the season with another sensational century, his 172 off just 162 balls put Northamptonshire into the driving seat against Essex and helped secure a big innings victory to end the season on a high. Keogh finished Northamptonshire’s leading runscorer in the County Championship, with 780 runs at an average of 39.

    Karun Nair
The Indian overseas star showed his quality from ball one and enjoyed a fruitful short stay with the club. Nair scored 249 runs across three innings with a stunning 150 against Surrey at The Oval which put Northamptonshire in a position to be able to enforce the follow-on against the eventual County Champions.

    Ben Sanderson
After being held back by injury throughout the year Ben Sanderson returned to his best in September. He claimed a hat-trick against Warwickshire in a dramatic final day before ending the year with a beautiful display of bowling in both innings in the win over Essex.

    Jack White
White showed exactly why he was named the club’s 2023 Championship Player of the Year with a string of impressive performances in September. He finished off with a third five-wicket haul of the season to claim his 50th wicket of the campaign in the season closer against Essex.
