    Gareth Berg

    Berg has enjoyed an impressive start to the year with both bat and ball. Tied for the 7th most wickets in the County Championship, including a superb 5/58 against Yorkshire and posting two half-centuries in five innings. His crucial 75 in a partnership of 105 with Luke Procter against was key in putting Northamptonshire ahead of the game.

    Rob Keogh

    Northamptonshire’s leading runscorer in 2022, Keogh has started the year with 278 runs at an average a tick over 55. With a century against Gloucestershire, backed up by 74 in the second innings, Keogh has been a consistent performer every time he’s walked to the middle. He’s also been valuable with the ball, picking up 8 so far and passing 100 first-class wickets in his 100th first-class match against Essex.

    Luke Procter

    Topping Northamptonshire’s batting averages after posting a linchpin century against Essex, Luke Procter has continued to be a reliable asset with the bat. He’s made handy contributions with the ball too, breaking key partnerships in both matches he’s played in.

    Ben Sanderson

    With 15 wickets in six innings at an average of 19, Ben Sanderson has continued to do what Ben Sanderson does in 2022. Posting match figures of 9/132 against Gloucestershire and doing the damage early against Essex, Sanderson passed 300 first-class wickets when he found the edge of Sir Alastair Cook.
