Northamptonshire Steelbacks Women are back in action on Sunday 27th April as they look to make it two wins out of two in League Two of the Metro Bank One Day Cup.
After a comprehensive 185-run victory over Leicestershire last time out, the squad will be full of confidence heading into their first home game of the season.
The Blaze loanee Michaela Kirk struck 125, the highest ever score by a Northamptonshire Women’s player, while Ella Phillips impressed with her off spin, taking 4/17 from the nine overs she bowled.
Gloucestershire Women will also be full of confidence as they also won their opening game, beating Derbyshire Women by nine runs in a rain affected game at the Seat Unique Stadium.
The game on Sunday will be played at Geddington Cricket Club, with the format being a 50-over match.
Play is scheduled to begin at 10:30am, innings change around 2:30pm and the fixture is set to finish around 6pm (dependent on match outcome).
