Northamptonshire Steelbacks Women return to Vitality Blast Women’s League 2 action tomorrow as they face Derbyshire Women at Horton House CC.
The Steelbacks returned to winning ways last weekend with victory against Leicestershire Women, and will be looking to continue their push for Finals Day qualification.
The side currently sit third in the Vitality Blast Women’s League Two, having won two and lost two in their opening four games.
The top four at the end of the games qualify for Finals Day, something that is an aim as Head Coach David Ripley admitted before the start of the season.
Derbyshire sit second bottom in the table, however have the exact same record in competition. The Steelbacks have one bonus points, which is all that separates 3rd and 8th.

Michaela Kirk has joined the Steelbacks on loan from The Blaze for this game. Kirk was the first ever centurion for the Steelbacks Women and will provide the side with some firepower in the top order. Bethan Robinson is fit after initially being a doubt.
