On Wednesday 30th January was the annual Northamptonshire Carers awards, this year hosted at Barton Hall in Kettering.
Two members of the Northamptonshire CCC squad, Luke Procter & Rob Newton, attended the event to provide prizes for the young carers.
The special event recognised the commitment, hard work, and selflessness of Northamptonshire carers, but also provided an opportunity for the county’s carers to enjoy an occasion which was dedicated solely to them.
The Steelbacks (along with two representatives from the Cobblers) spent the afternoon meeting the carers, thanking them for the incredible work they do, and presenting them with well-deserved prizes.
