Northamptonshire Steelbacks are back in action tomorrow in what is a must-win game in the Metro Bank One Day Cup.
The Steelbacks, who are off the back of an impressive win against Lancashire, head to Queen’s Park in Chesterfield to face third-placed Notts Outlaws.
The Outlaws have won three and lost two in their five games and are currently level on points with Lancashire and Kent. Northamptonshire would go level on points with Notts if they win tomorrow.
Match information:
Gates at Queen’s Park open at 9:30am tomorrow, with the toss set to take place at 10:30am, and the first ball scheduled for 11am.
The innings break is scheduled for 2:30pm, but that is dependent on the outcome of the first innings. The match is scheduled to end at 6:30pm.

Squad news:
Head Coach Darren Lehmann has named a 13-man squad for the next two One Day Cup games.
Aadi Sharma is set for a spell on the sidelines after recently suffering a shoulder injury. Ricardo Vasconcelos will also miss the next couple of games with a slight calf issue.
Sam King is a new addition into the squad. The young opening batter has been involved in the 2XI recently and has been brought into the side. King has experience with Nottinghamshire, having played seven List A and one T20 for the midlands outfit.

Why they can win the competition: Having been in fine form in both the Rothesay County Championship and the Blast, there is plenty of confidence in the Trent Bridge dressing room and enough depth in the squad to mount a serious challenge for silverware on all fronts.
Player to watch: Jack Haynes, who amassed almost 500 runs in last season’s competition, has shown his quality in both red and white-ball cricket so far this season, averaging 51.63 in the Rothesay County Championship. He will be a key player for the Outlaws.
Young gun: Almost two years on from his sensational 10-wicket debut in the Championship, teenage off-spin sensation Farhan Ahmed has found first-team opportunities limited of late. This competition offers a chance to remind the senior side what they have been missing.
Final thought: Although their senior bowling resources take a hit because of The Hundred, Notts have solid back-up in the likes of Brett Hutton, Rob Lord, James Hayes, Lyndon James and Joe Pocklington. They should at least progress to the knock-out stages.
