Northamptonshire Steelbacks will be looking to return to winning ways when they travel to Cardiff to face Glamorgan in their 10th game of the Vitality Blast.

The Steelbacks suffered their first defeat of the competition against Somerset on Sunday, but still sit comfortably top ahead of second placed Gloucestershire.

The eight wins places the Steelbacks on 32 points, with Gloucestershire and Worcestershire both on 24 points.

Glamorgan sit fourth in the group on 20 points but a win could see them propel into second on net run rate.

The sides met in the opening game of the Blast, with the Steelbacks coming out on top by just three runs. A tight final over and figures of 3/33 from George Scrimshaw restricted the visitors to 162/8 after Northamptonshire posted 165/8 batting first.

Play at Sophia Gardens is set to start at 6:30pm with the host county providing a livestream. You can follow all of the action with live match updates on our social media platforms.
