Northamptonshire Steelbacks Men and Women are set for another Vitality Blast double header as they welcome Gloucestershire Women and Somerset Men to the cinch County Ground tomorrow.

For the first time in a year, both sides will be in T20 action at the cinch County Ground on the same day, with the women kicking off the day at 11:30am, followed by the men at 3:30pm.

It’ll be a big day for both sides, with the Steelbacks Women hoping to secure a spot at Finals Day, while the men will be aiming to make it an astonishing nine wins from nine.

Match information:

Gates open at 10:30am tomorrow, with the games set to start at 11:30am and 3:30pm. Tickets are still available for this fixture and can be bought here or on the gate when you arrive.

With warm weather expected, spectators are advised to take care in the sun and ensure they stay hydrated throughout the fixture. Paramedics will be on-site and on hand to assist anyone who has any issues.

The Tempeo Foundation FanZone will be open, with plenty of things to do for our younger fans. We’ll have a bouncy castle, a speed tunnel, face painting and plenty of food and drink options. The FanZone is located behind the Briggs & Forrester stand.

The Steelbacks Foundation will also be located in the FanZone, and they have plenty of amazing items up for grabs. You could get your hands on items such as David Willey’s England kit, official player training and match kit and much more. There’s over 300 items up for grabs. All money raised will be going to the foundation as they aim to keep improving cricket in Northamptonshire.

Steelbacks Men squad news:

There is only one change to the squad from the win against Gloucestershire. Chris Lynn, who missed the last game due to hamstring tightness, drops out of the squad in place of Gus Miller. Lynn has been working on his recovery this week and should be back available for selection shortly.

Luke Procter remains absent with a broken finger.
