Northamptonshire County Cricket Club can confirm that Aadi Sharma and Arush Buchake will depart the Club when their contracts expire at the end of the season.

Sharma first featured for the county against Gloucestershire in the County Championship last season and he went on to play 13 matches across all formats.

The majority of those came in the One Day Cup where the 20-year-old scored 247 runs and two half-centuries across 2025 and 2026.

Buchake’s only appearance came in the final game of the 2025 County Championship against Leicestershire in which he scored a total of 36 runs across the two innings.

Both of the players are graduates from the Club’s Talent Pathway and have played multiple times for the 2XI across the last few years.

Northamptonshire CEO, Ray Payne said: “It’s never nice seeing people leave, but we’re very thankful to Aadi and Arush for all of their hard work and commitment during their time at the Club.

“We’re sure that they’ll excel at whatever comes next, and everyone wishes them the very best of luck moving forward.”
