Ben Sanderson, Saif Zaib and James Sales will all feature in the 2026 Hundred after being selected in the Vitality Wildcard Draft.
Sanderson will return to Trent Rockets, Zaib will play for Southern Brave, and Sales will make his debut in The Hundred for the Manchester Super Giants.
The trio won’t be the only Northamptonshire players featuring in the competition after David Willey (London Spirit), Louis Kimber (Trent Rockets) and George Scrimshaw (Manchester Super Giants) were picked up in the main draft in March.
The Vitality Wildcard Draft was designed to offer teams the chance to reward good form in the Vitality Blast men’s and women’s competitions, and sees 32 men’s and women’s players picked across the eight men’s and women’s squads to occupy the last two squad spots.
Sales has been a rewarded for his excellent start to the Blast, with the seamer currently sitting as the top wicket taker in the competition with 16 wickets, including career-best figures of 5/21 against Gloucestershire. Sanderson has also been excellent leading the line for the Steelbacks while continuing to be extremely effective in the death overs.
Zaib is set to feature in the competition for the third time, having previously represented Welsh Fire and Northern Superchargers.
The tournament starts on Tuesday 21st July.
