Rob Keogh has been awarded a testimonial year in 2024, recognising his outstanding contribution to the Club for more than a decade.

A true one-club player, Keogh has been a staple in Northamptonshire sides since his debut in 2010. In 279 appearances he’s compiled just shy of 9,000 runs and picked up 186 wickets along the way.

“A testimonial year isn’t something that’s awarded lightly, so this is a real honour to receive.” Keogh said.

“I’m proud to have called Northamptonshire my home for the last 14 years and hope supporters could see I’ve given my all whenever I’m on the field.

“I still have so much to give in my playing career but 2024 will be a particularly exciting year, a chance to celebrate my time with the club so far and hopefully give back to everyone who has supported me on my journey.”

Northamptonshire Chief Executive Ray Payne believed Keogh was particularly deserving of the recognition.

“Rob has been a superb player for Northamptonshire and we’ve seen him consistently step up as a senior member of the squad in the last few seasons in particular.

“Not only is he a fantastic cricketer but also a great ambassador for the Club and our values.

“The Board are delighted to award Rob a testimonial year and I think you’d be hard pressed to find someone more deserving.” Payne said.

“I’ll be supporting some amazing charities throughout the year and will look to hold some exciting events.” Keogh said.

“Thank you again to the club for the amazing opportunity and to the supporters for always having my back.”

“Here’s to an exciting 2024 on and off the field.”
