Northamptonshire County Cricket Club limited are pleased to provide a concise summary of the Northamptonshire County Cricket Club Directors’ Report and Financial Statements for the 12 months ending 31st January 2025.

During the 12 months ended 31st January 2025, Northamptonshire recorded a loss after tax of £26,891. A result which was in line with the club’s expectations at the start of the year, a year that was always going to be a difficult trading year. Not helped by some poor weather affecting a number of key cricketing days.

Turnover increased slightly and was boosted by a home quarter final in the T20 Blast. Well done to the players and coaches for a strong performance in this competition.

Ray Payne, Northamptonshire’s Chief Executive Officer, said: “I was pleased with the club’s revenue in 2024, both in cricket and non-cricket capacities. This was assisted by strong T20 Blast crowds for the 2024 tournament including a great home quarter-final tie”.

“Support from businesses across Northamptonshire is greatly appreciated as corporate sponsorship remained strong, therefore continuing to play a crucial role at the club.”

“The challenge for the club has been managing inflationary costs across the business and in particular catering costs, cricketing expenses. It is essential these are managed effectively to ensure the club remains a strong going concern and can plan for the future both on and off the field. I would like to extend a very personal thanks to the fantastic team at the club who have worked hard to deliver these results.”

Northamptonshire County Cricket Club would like to extend its thanks and appreciation to its, supporters, members and corporate partners for their dedication and support.
