Northamptonshire County Cricket Club can confirm a number of departures from the professional playing squad and support staff following the end of the season.

Hassan Azad and Harry Gouldstone both depart at the end of their contracts, having not been offered extensions for 2024, while Tom Taylor leaves the club after 91 appearances to join Worcestershire.

The club also says goodbye to three players who have called time on their playing careers, as Graeme White, Gareth Berg and Simon Kerrigan have all announced their retirement from professional cricket.

Graeme White will be staying on with Northamptonshire, as he continues his role as Head Coach for the 2XI and as Lead Spin and Fielding Coach.

Batting Coach Ben Smith and Head of Physical Performance Chris Lorkin have both left the club’s coaching setup to move onto pastures new.

Everyone at the Club would like to thank the players and staff for their valued contribution to the club and wish them all the best in the future.

Once a Steelback, always a Steelback.
