Northamptonshire CCC has today announced a new partnership with Parkway Volkswagen Northampton.

The partnership will see Northamptonshire captain Alex Wakely be provided with a Volkswagen T-Roc for his duties for the club and in the local community. Meanwhile Parkway Volkswagen will receive branding opportunities on the shirts of the Northamptonshire Recreational Cricket District Teams.

With the deal also allowing scope for possible future expansion, Northamptonshire’s Chief Executive Ray Payne is seeking to building a strong relationship with Parkway Volkswagen.

“Having good partnerships with local companies is important as we look to expand in the future and we’re very happy that Parkway Volkswagen have agreed to come on board with us,” he said.

“We’re looking forward to developing our work together with Parkway Volkswagen.”

Parkway Volkswagen’s General Sales Manager, Terry Rose, is delighted to have agreed this new deal with Northamptonshire.

“Alex is one of the county’s top sportspeople and we know that he is an excellent role model and ambassador for Northamptonshire,” he commented. “We had no hesitation in agreeing to provide him with a T-Roc and will be proud to see him in one of our vehicles.”
