The Board of Directors of Northamptonshire County Cricket Club has been expanded, with three new members being welcomed this year.

Shivani Kaushike, Sam Kiddy and Linda Fisher have all joined the NCCC Board of Directors to add industry experience and expertise to specific sub-committees of the board.

Having worked in marketing for more than twenty years, Sam Kiddy had been introduced to the commercial sub-committee to ensure the Club is communicating effectively to a wide range of demographics and communities.

“I’m excited to be involved with the board at Northamptonshire”, said Sam.

“I see my role as bringing a new and different voice to the Club. Women are still underrepresented at cricket board level, but at Northamptonshire we’re really changing that”.

Sam is joining the board with a range of specific goals and ambitions to continue to push the Club in the right direction.

“We have an amazing opportunity to champion women’s and girls’ cricket as well as widen the opportunities for kids to discover cricket”.

Shivani Kaushike has joined the safeguarding and welfare sub-committee and will be instrumental in making sure that all matters appertaining to governance & EDI strategies are delivered.

As a constant around The County Ground for years, Linda Fisher will be joining the board as season ticket representative, acting as the conduit between the board & season ticket holders.

“As a supporter of Northamptonshire for many years and chairman of the supporter’s club for six years, it is massively exciting to be welcomed onto the board of directors. The Club is keen to hear the opinion of the Season Ticket Holders and it will be great to ensure there is open communication between the two”.

“I am delighted to welcome Sam, Shivani & Linda to the NCCC board of directors”, said Northamptonshire County Cricket Club Chairman, Gavin Warren.

“We are lucky to have the skill sets of the three new board members and we thank them for giving us their valuable time.”
