Lewis McManus has chosen to stand down as captain of the One Day Cup side.
McManus was appointed as One Day Cup captain back in 2023 but after three campaigns in the position, he has now taken the decision to step back.
Head Coach Darren Lehmann praised McManus for his work ethic as captain.
“Lewis has worked extremely hard over the past couple of years and we’re very thankful for his service as captain and for all of the help he has provided the younger players in particular.
“He’s still an important player and leader within the group and we’re looking forward to him having a strong summer.”
A decision about the new One Day Cup captain will be made closer to the competition.
