The second round of the Rothesay County Championship gets underway tomorrow, with Northamptonshire heading on the road for a trip to Emirates Old Trafford to face Lancashire.

After a disappointing first game against Kent, the Northamptonshire squad will be keen to bounce back against a Lancashire side who kicked off their season with a draw away at Middlesex.

Calvin Harrison joins the Club on a two-game loan from Nottinghamshire, with the all-rounder providing a different threat with his leg spinning ability.

Play starts at 11am, with 96 overs scheduled for the day.

Lunch is scheduled for 1pm and tea is scheduled for 3:40pm.

Key winter moves: The Red Rose have signed versatile Scotland international batter Michael Jones from Durham. Jones was a Lancashire junior before moving away in search of greater opportunity. Experienced Australian opener Marcus Harris is locked in for the bulk of this season’s promotion push, while West Indian quick Anderson Phillip returns until the end of July. Aussie T20 Blast recruits Chris Green and Ashton Turner will also be available for any mid-summer Championship cricket.
