Northamptonshire County Cricket Club are pleased to announce that former Northamptonshire player Lee Daggett has been appointed as the Club’s Head Physiotherapist and Clinical Lead.

Daggett played professionally for the Steelbacks from 2008-2013 and was part of the squad that lifted the T20 Blast in 2013.

The 42-year-old was also Northamptonshire’s 461st first-class player, having made his debut against Essex in 2009.

“It’s a real privilege to return to a Club that played such an important part in my career.” Daggett said.

“I’m excited to contribute in a new way, supporting the players’ health and performance behind the scenes.” He added.

Northamptonshire CEO Ray Payne was delighted to see Daggett return to the Club.

“We’re delighted to be welcoming Lee back to Northamptonshire as our Head Physio and Clinical Lead.

“The combination of his knowledge of the Club and experience as a physiotherapist will be invaluable as we continue to develop our highly ambitious medical team.”
