Northamptonshire saw out a hard-fought draw against Kent with some determined batting lower down the order. A Lewis McManus half-century ensured the follow on was avoided and the draw was successfully played out in the afternoon.
This ends a stint of six straight County Championship matches before the Vitality Blast starts on Thursday away at Edgbaston.
