Introducing Northamptonshire Steelbacks Future Stars
Our new Early Engagement Programme (EEP) for girls who love sport, aged 9–12.
We’re on the lookout for the next generation of female cricketers in Northamptonshire.
The new Steelbacks Future Stars programmes offers:
- Expert coaching from qualified coaches
- Fun, supportive training environments
- Opportunities to develop skills and confidence
- Pathways into club and county cricket
Who can be nominated?
- Girls aged 9–12
- May already play cricket or show sporting talent in other activities
- Enthusiastic, committed, and ready to learn
No cricket experience necessary – we’re looking for potential!
Observations take place from October at two Northamptonshire hubs, and the programme will begin in January. Players are eligible for nomination if they were born in, play for a club in, or attend a school in, Northamptonshire.
