Northamptonshire County Cricket Club are delighted to announce that Harry Conway will stay with the County until the end of the 2028 campaign.

The next two seasons will see the Australian seamer available for selection across for the whole year in the County Championship and One Day Cup.

“It was a pretty easy decision for me,” Conway said.

“It’s a really exciting time at the Club; I had a great stint this year but being around for the whole season is something I’m really looking forward to.” He added.

While leading the Northamptonshire seam attack, Conway took 34 wickets in his eight-game stint earlier this year and will have the chance to add to that as he replaces Nathan McSweneey for the final three games of the season.

Speaking on the rest of the year, Conway said: “I’m really keen to re-join the team and bowl in tandem with Yuzi for the first time in my career.

“I think the team are pushing really hard at the moment, and we’ve now found ourselves in a position that we could be promoted.

“Every day of cricket feels like it’s got something on it which is very exciting.”

A big personality and a fierce competitor, Head Coach Darren Lehmann was full of praise for Conway.

“Harry’s quality and personality has been clear to see over the past two seasons so to have him available across the whole season will be a real boost to us.

“He’s great to have around the dressing room and has really bought into the culture of the Club which is brilliant to see.”
