Whilst the 2015 season may have been completed a few months ago there was one outstanding piece of business that was still to be completed and our Chairman, Gavin Warren nominated himself for the job. Rory Kleinveldt was voted County Championship player of the season and Player’s Player but unfortunately he couldn’t stay for the end of season dinner to receive his awards due to commitments back in South Africa. Mr Warren, who was in South Africa on separate business last week, arranged to meet up with Rory and another Northants star, Richard Levi in order to hand over the Steelbacks cufflinks and a designer watch kindly dontated by Steffans.
Dane Vilas, vice Captain of the Cape Cobras and South African international also joined in the fun.
We are looking forward to having Richard and Rory back at the County Ground very soon.
