For many cricketers, a day’s rest can only mean one thing – golf. And for a few members of the Northamptonshire County Cricket Club Squad, yesterday’s rest day in Barbados was a real treat. The Royal Westmoreland Golf Club invited Alex Wakely, Olly Stone, Tom Sole, David Ripley, Phil Rowe and Kev Innes as their guests for the day and it certainly was a day to remember. Sir Garry Sobers spent some time chatting to the visitors along with Franklyn Stephenson who teamed up with the boys for some golf.
