Northamptonshire 2XI have made it through to T20 Finals Day after finishing as the best runner-up across the three groups.
The side will face Warwickshire 2XI in the first semi-final at the Sir Paul Getty’s Ground in Wormsley on Tuesday. The game is scheduled to start at 10:30am, with the final set for 5pm.
The 2XI were pipped to top spot in the Central Group by Warwickshire, who finished with 32 points.
Nottinghamshire and Sussex were the other teams to finish as group winners, and they will face each other in the second semi-final at 1:45pm.
Out of the ten games that the 2XI played in the group, they won seven, lost two and had one abandoned due to weather. Highlights included double header wins against Glamorgan and Worcestershire, as well as comfortable five and six-wicket wins against Somerset and Warwickshire respectively.
Gus Miller enjoyed a positive campaign with the bat, finishing with three half centuries. Miller top scored for the side in the competition with 272 runs at an average of 54.40. His top score of 90 was the joint-highest by a Northamptonshire player in the 2026 group stage.
