Northamptonshire 2XI took 10 wickets on the final day to secure a comprehensive innings and 28 run victory over Loughborough UCCE.
Gus Miller took three wickets, Ravi Bopara two and Jack White, James Sales, Alex Russell and Tommy Sturgess all contributed with a wicket each.
After a excellent batting performance aided by 171 from Justin Broad on Day 2 put Northamptonshire 2XI in a strong position going into the final day.
The 2XI declared overnight on 524/9, leading by 238.
It was a fairly positive start from Loughborough as their openers approached a 50 partnership but Gus Miller struck in the 13th over, trapping Weston lbw. Miller struck again in his next over, removing Gumbs for a seven ball duck.
The 2XI captain continued bowling with intent and picked up his third wicket in the 19th over, bowling Pistorius as he attempted to play Miller down the ground.
Tommy Sturgess removed Allinson as he played a big drive but edged through to Hargrave before lunch and Loughborough found themselves 87/4 at the end of the morning session.
After lunch, Jack White struck as he bowled Sasirekha. White bowled nine overs in the match as he continues his recovery and could be in contention to return for Northamptonshire’s upcoming County Championship fixtures.
Sales picked up the wicket of Bowley and Meadows played well for 72 but he was dismissed by Bopara for his first wicket.
Bopara and Russell picked up the final two wickets after Rao retired out and the 2XI continued their strong start to the season with another impressive victory.
