After the announcement of the 2025 Vitality Blast fixtures for Northamptonshire Steelbacks Men and Women, the County Championship and Metro Bank One Day Cup fixtures have now been released.
Northamptonshire kick off the County Championship season on Friday 4th April at home to Kent.
After an opener at home, Northamptonshire then face a trio of away fixtures, travelling to Lancashire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire
This season, the County Championship features play on at least one day of the weekend in the first 9 fixtures, with the first seven games starting on a Friday.
The 2025 County Championship also sees Northamptonshire finish the season at home to Leicestershire on Wednesday 24th September.
Unlike 2024, the Steelbacks will play at Wantage Road more often in August, with four games, including three home games in a row in the Metro Bank One Day Cup on the 17th (Sussex), 21st (Kent) and 24th (Middlesex).
For the Northamptonshire Steelbacks Women, the Metro Bank One Day Cup Women’s League Two is split in two, with fixtures in April and May, then another block in August. The first block has the Women playing Leicestershire (A), then Gloucestershire, Middlesex and Worcestershire at home.
In the second block in August, they will face Derbyshire (A), Kent (A), Sussex (H), Yorkshire (H) and Glamorgan (A) in the competition.
If they progress out of the group, they will play the semi-final on 6th September, with the final on Sunday 14th September at Visit Worcestershire New Road.
